Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Business Partner acts as a trusted expert advisor to managers. They provide strategic support for business objectives.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Act as a privileged point of contact between client division managers and the multidisciplinary HR team: organizational development and training, health and safety, talent acquisition, compensation, etc.
  • Assume both an operational and strategic role, from planning to analyzing the organizational climate, including coaching and supporting managers.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and committees aimed at improving HR practices and supporting business objectives.
  • Act as a labor relations specialist, supporting union strategies, proactive conflict resolution, labor relations committees and collective bargaining.
  • Understand divisional business issues and ensure alignment with corporate orientations, contributing to the harmonization and efficiency of HR practices and corporate policies.
  • Contribute to talent and change management, employee engagement, skills development and work climate
  • All other related tasks.

In order to join Groupe Robert's team, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, industrial relations or relevant field;
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in a generalist role, including at least 3 solid years in labor relations;
  • Bilingualism essential, both oral and written (French/English);
  • Customer focus, results orientation and strong business acumen;
  • Mobilizing leadership and ability to create solid business partnerships with managers and internal stakeholders;
  • Ability to influence, innovate and challenge the status quo, always with a view to aligning with customer needs;
  • Strong coaching, mentoring and communication skills (oral and written);
  • Strategic thinking and political acumen, combined with strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
