Transport supervisor

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

• Supervise a team of dispatchers
• Establish and maintain good communication with external and internal customers
• Integrate, train, coach and mentor employees
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Control costs related to his/her sector
• Take stock of the organization's activities, operations and equipment
• Prioritize activities
• Make recommendations and suggest optimization strategies
• Plan employee schedules
• Produce reports and procedures
• All other related tasks.

 

In order to join Groupe Robert's team, you must have:

• Minimum experience of 3 to 5 years in personnel management
• Experience in the transportation field required
• College diploma in logistics and transportation (asset)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)
• Bilingualism required (spoken and written)
• Management and leadership skills
• Stress resistance and ability to work under pressure
• Good organization and planning skills
