Reporting to the Senior Director, Operational Excellence, the Distribution Center Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of distribution center projects. He/she ensures rigorous coordination of internal and external stakeholders. He knows how to assess risks, communicate and escalate information at the right time. His dynamism is meaningful, and he influences his colleagues to bring large-scale projects to fruition. His scope is both tactical and strategic. He contributes to the success of the organization through his ability to implement change projects with fluidity.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Ensure the planning, organization, implementation and control of operational projects (PODC);
  • Master the project management tools required to achieve objectives;
  • Ensure optimal coordination between different resources to achieve deliverables;
  • Ensure a level of execution rhythm by mobilizing teams according to the required frequency;
  • Keep abreast of changes and developments in best practices;
  • Develop and respect project priorities;
  • Ensure compliance with network distribution center processes at all times;
  • Ensure a transition that allows for the continuity of initiatives put in place;
  • Maintain and develop good business relationships with internal and external customers.

In order to join Groupe Robert's team, you must have:

  • Certificate in project management or relevant training/experience;
  • 1 year experience in project management in a manufacturing environment;
  • PMP or CAPM certification (asset);
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite);
  • Fluency in written and spoken French;
  • Ability to work in English (when required by site/customer);
  • Experience with customer service;
  • Ability to multi-task within short deadlines.
