As a member of the Distribution Center Team (DCT), the Technician provides systems support for customer requests, carriers and other Robert Group departments. The Technician is the fundamental pivot of the quality of information put into the systems in order to ensure a quality operational service. In collaboration with the supervisor, the technician coordinates the work and provides support to the order pickers and forklift operators in the area. The technician plays a pivotal role between CDR operations and customer demand.
Your responsibilities will be as follows:

-Welcome truck drivers to the CD -Ensure optimal scheduling of shipments according to established protocols -Make and coordinate appointments -Ensure up-to-date information in systems -Create the necessary documentation related to the receipt and dispatch of merchandise -Communicate receiving and shipping information to customers -Participate in administrative tasks inherent to the technician's position -Apply receiving and shipping documentation standards -Maintain and update various sector performance monitoring data -Apply all policies and procedures related to the position -Create all necessary documentation related to customs exports -Take charge of several customers and/or major customers according to specific criteria -Assume certain inventory management responsibilities; -Apply industry-specific standard procedures -Audit documentation according to established protocol -Request system changes in collaboration with Ti -Train new employees in their role as technicians -Act as supervisor's right-hand man to achieve company objectives -Any other job-related duties
