Groupe Robert (Rouyn-Noranda Terminal) is looking for an Operations Area Manager for a temporary replacement position of 6 months to 1 year. The incumbent will manage a team and provide quality service while taking the company's interests to heart; he/she will report to the Specialized Transport Manager. He/she must contribute to optimizing organizational performance and efficiency. The Operations Manager plans and ensures the efficiency of operations, the quality of work, the correct use of equipment, and the working climate in order to constantly improve customer satisfaction and contribute to the company's profitability.
Your responsibilities will be as follows:

- Manage the performance of his/her team in order to achieve the set objective. - Schedule the day's/month's/quarter's work; follow up on the previous work team; - Receive and execute requests from the terminal and other departments; - Report on meetings with staff and supervisor; - Determine and justify manpower requirements; follow up with router, GUI tabs to ensure everything is set up. - Plan transportation resources - Contribute to the design of policies, programs and systems required to achieve internal objectives and comply with legal and regulatory obligations. - Ensure deadlines and quality are met - Ensure the identification and resolution of problems, in collaboration with the various operational managers concerned. - Verify and authorize punches in the system and hours for supervisors - Deliver expected results and meet deadlines for responsibilities
In order to join Groupe Robert's team, you must have:
- At least 2 years' experience as a supervisor - Knowledge of transportation an asset - Ability to adapt - Good team management skills - Excellent planning, organization and execution skills - Problem-solving skills - Focus on results - Leadership/teamwork - Interpersonal communication skills and autonomy - Computer skills (Office, etc.)
