How to request alternate formats
You can use the contact information below to request a copy of our feedback process outline or status report in the following alternate formats: print, large print, Braille, audio, or electronic formats compatible with assistive technologies designed to help people with disabilities. •Content Summary: The visibility of our accessibility plan could be improved as it is not very easy to find on the company’s website.
This status report serves as a record of the comment received.
•We will speak with our colleagues in IT and Communications to post the link to the policy and the report in a higher visibility location on the Groupe Robert website.
Consultation
•Our accessibility plan was drawn up in collaboration with our employees, including those with disabilities.
•We will meet with organizations that have expertise in disability issues to better understand their needs and how we can better support our employees with disabilities. We will seek their recommendations to improve the accessibility of our facilities, work equipment, and computer tools.
•We will conduct employee surveys as part of this accessibility plan to measure our progress and ensure we are implementing the changes we have committed to.
Due to several changes within the company, these initiatives were not initiated in 2024 as planned.

Employment
We have achieved the following progress in removing barriers identified in our accessibility plan:
Barrier 1: We need to survey and/or identify active employees with disabilities. It is also imperative that we improve our recruitment practices to facilitate the hiring of people with disabilities.
Progress Update: Raise staff awareness around recruitment. We need to distribute the
self-identification checklist to active employees and introduce changes to our job postings.
Our built environment
We have achieved the following progress in removing the barriers identified in our accessibility plan:
Barrier 1: Ensuring that our buildings and terminals comply with the Building Code; however,
as tenants, we cannot carry out work to make our buildings accessible.
Progress update: Our newer buildings are generally more accessible and compliant with current standards. Our buildings are being updated as much as possible.
Information and Communications Technologies
The following progress has been achieved in removing barriers identified in our accessibility plan:
Barrier 1: We must ensure that our website complies with the Government of Canada’s Web
Accessibility Standards.
Progress report: uninitiated
Communication other than ITC
Barrier 1: Our current communication process does not account for differences between
employees.
Progress update: We need to assess how to make important documents more accessible to
all groups and empower departments such as HR, Legal, and Finance to promote internal and external communication in straightforward language.
Goods, services and facilities acquisitions
The following progress has been achieved in removing barriers identified in our accessibility plan:
Barrier 1: We must tailor our practices and consider accessibility from the outset of the process
of acquiring goods, services, and facilities.
Progress update: We are committed to providing an accessibility assessment process for
facilities, goods, and services.
Design and Provision of Programs and Services
The following progress has been achieved in removing barriers identified in our accessibility plan:
Barrier 1: Ensure that our customers (businesses) with disabled employees can access our
programs and services.
Progress update: No complaints have been received from our customers regarding the
accessibility of our programs and services.

Conclusion
Groupe Robert is committed to monitoring and evaluating the Accessibility Plan to ensure that the remaining access objectives are met and that barriers identified in our plan are eliminated
or pre-empted.
Groupe Robert welcomes feedback from all individuals regarding the accessibility of our facilities and systems. If barriers are identified, we wish to be informed.
The Accessible Canada Act (ACA) for people with disabilities defines a barrier as:
Any element, including physical or architectural elements, that is related to information,
communication, behavior, or technology, or that is the result of a policy or practice, that hinders the full and equal participation in society of persons with physical, intellectual, cognitive, mental, or sensory disabilities, learning or communication impairments, or functional limitations.
As part of our accessibility plan, the term “Groupe Robert” refers to all of our federally regulated subsidiaries, namely:
